The Challenge

Telecommunications organisations manage highly complex physical and logical infrastructure across large geographic areas. Existing documentation was fragmented, inconsistent and not structured to support operational continuity or knowledge transfer.

The Approach

We conducted a systematic review of existing documentation, analysed documentation standards from comparable infrastructure sectors and designed a layered documentation framework suited to the specific structure of telecommunications networks — addressing physical infrastructure, logical systems, operational procedures and knowledge management separately while maintaining coherent cross-referencing.
