Environmental Monitoring Systems

The Challenge

Effective natural resource management requires continuous, reliable environmental data. Existing monitoring solutions were either prohibitively expensive, insufficiently precise for research-grade data, or not documented to a standard that permitted replication.

The Approach

We designed a modular sensor system using embedded electronics for data acquisition across multiple environmental parameters, developed the data pipeline for collection, processing and storage, and produced comprehensive technical documentation — including circuit schematics, firmware documentation, calibration procedures and operational manuals — to enable replication and maintenance.
