The Challenge

Agricultural extension workers in the region lacked a coherent, locally-relevant knowledge base for sustainable practices. Existing resources were fragmented across international sources not adapted to local conditions, or anecdotal and undocumented.

The Approach

We conducted field research with practitioners, reviewed existing scientific literature, synthesised findings into a structured knowledge framework, and produced a layered set of outputs — from technical research documentation to accessible field guides and training materials for extension workers with varying educational backgrounds.
